PNAS Publishes New Research in Ovarian Cancer Biomarker Discovery
In the October 30, 2007 issue of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Invitrogen's ProtoArray® technology was applied to identify autoantigens associated with ovarian cancer. The article, "Identification of differentially expressed proteins in ovarian cancer using high-density protein microarrays," describes serum profiling studies from 30 ovarian cancer patients and 30 healthy individuals. Ninety-four biomarkers exhibited enhanced reactivity in sera from cancer patients.
